In these books there are thousands of alternate worlds linked by a series of gates. The worlds range from backward middle ages to highly technical where genetic manipulation is common place. Our hero and heroine travel between these worlds trying to defeat the Swarm, an insectasoid race who are striving for worlds domination! So far our heroes are thwarting them.
